While living in Italy, Rosario Smirne discovered his mantra "la vita di Lusso." Luxury is defined as "a pleasure of the ordinary allowed to oneself" (www.dictionary.com). In 2009, La Vita di Lusso, LLC was created to help others enjoy personalized experiences in living la vita di Lusso.
Bio
While living in the fashion capital of the world Milan, Italy, Rosario Smirne became an expert in La Vita di Lusso. Growing up in Scranton, PA, Rosario always had dreams larger than life. At 16, he got his dream job as a bullpen catcher for the Scranton Wilkes Barre Red Barons, an AAA minor league team for the Philadelphia Phillies. This young baseball player was determined to better himself through creating a personal code of ethics, hard work, and high standards. After receiving baseball scholarships and playing colligate baseball at both Cleveland State and George Washington University, Rosario signed to play professional baseball in Milan, Italy. His dual citizenship allowed him to play in the 2002 World Baseball Championship for the country of Italy. After several years in Italy, Rosario moved to Washington DC where he currently resides. He owns several luxury properties including a condo in Calabria, Italy. While in DC, Rosario has worked as a promoter at some of the cities hottest clubs. Rosario decided to use all of his contacts and experience to help others indulge in La Vita di Lusso.
